New Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong Arrives in Pakistan to Bolster Bilateral Relations
ISLAMABAD – In a significant diplomatic development, the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, has landed in Islamabad to take up his crucial role in enhancing Sino-Pakistani relations.
The official announcement of Ambassador Jiang's arrival was
made by the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan via the social media platform X.
"On September 5, Chinese new Ambassador Mr. Jiang Zaidong arrived in
Islamabad, and was warmly welcomed by Pakistani officials & representatives
of the Embassy."
Ambassador Jiang is poised to further fortify the enduring
China-Pakistan friendship and strengthen the bonds of their all-weather
strategic cooperation, as emphasized by the embassy.
As per reports, Jiang Zaidong will soon present his
credentials to President Arif Alvi, formally marking the commencement of his
diplomatic responsibilities in Pakistan. Jiang, a distinguished senior officer
within China's diplomatic service, was nominated for this esteemed position
following the return of former ambassador Nong Rong to China in January earlier
this year.
