Joe Manganiello and Sofa Vergara's marriage no longer has its charm. After seven years of marriage, the former "Modern Family" cast member and the "Magic Mike" actor announced their separation on July 17.

"We have made the difficult decision to divorce," the couple wrote in a statement to Page Six. "As two very devoted and caring individuals, we kindly request respect for our privacy at this time as we move through this new stage of our lives."

Split Following Birthday Celebration

A week after celebrating her 51st birthday, Vergara received word of the breakup. The actress attended the event with pals in Italy, but Manganiello was not visible in any of the pictures she shared on Instagram. On July 10, the actor did post an homage to Vergara on social media, saying, "Happy Birthday Sofia!!!" next to an old photo of the couple.
