PTM Workers Arrested After Clash With Police During March In Pakistan
It is no longer a secret that the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement
(PTM) cooperates with the hostile National Directorate of Security (NDS) of
Afghanistan and the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) of India. Initiated by
eight students at Gomal University in May 2014 under the name "Mehsud
Tahaffuz Movement," the group has since evolved into a weapon in the hands
of Pakistan's enemies who use it to sow discord and incite hatred against the
country's state institutions in Waziristan (especially Mehsud territory) and other
tribal areas affected by the war on terrorism. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan
(TTP) had the exact same goals as the PTM today, which was founded by Manzoor
Pashteen and supported by MNAs Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir: destabilising
Pakistan's armed forces and undermining their efforts in the fight against
terrorism through false anti-state propaganda.
Once more, PTM's true motivations were made clear when they
falsely accused Pakistan's military of murdering its activist Dr. Sadiqullah
Wazir, who was allegedly kidnapped by the Afghan Taliban before having his body
buried in the Bairmal region of South Waziristan. The PTM quickly began a
social media propaganda campaign against Pakistan's law enforcement
institutions, alleging that they were behind the murder at the request of enemy
agencies.
In reality, the PTM takes every chance to try to weaken Pakistan's national institutions. Recently, it was discovered that the so-called Pashtun rights organisation had been sabotaging the government's concerted and determined attempts to contain the fatal virus in the nation in addition to misrepresenting the public about the threat presented by the coronavirus epidemic. In a video that went popular on social media, PTM's Mohsin Dawar looked to be downplaying the deadly threat posed by the coronavirus while being surrounded by locals. Dawar was also heard in the film telling the villagers that the coronavirus was "nothing" and that it was "just a way for the army to make money." Another PTM leader, MNA Ali Wazir, attempted to stir up trouble by calling the relocation of virus-infected people to Dera Ismail Khan and Chaman a "conspiracy against Pashtuns."
Many people were perplexed by the PTM MNAs' recent
invitation to the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani's swearing-in ceremony as well
as the exceptional treatment the Afghan Army accorded them. Mohsin Dawar and
Ali Wazir were flown by an Afghan National Army helicopter from the Pak-Afghan
border crossing to Kabul to participate in the swearing-in event, which lends
support to rumours that the organisation is connected to some Afghan government
officials. Finally made it to Kabul! I wanted to thank President @ashrafghani
for postponing the swearing-in so that @Aliwazirna50 and I could be present.
The warmth of this place's welcome has overwhelmed us. Wishing for peace in the
future for Afghanistan and the surrounding area," Dawar had tweeted
immediately after arriving in Kabul. Dawar acknowledged in his tweet that the
delay in their arrival at the presidential palace caused a delay in Ghani's
taking of the oath of office. Both PTM leaders stopped by 'officials' in
eastern Nangarhar province before travelling to Kabul. Additionally, they had a
meeting with Amrullah Saleh, the infamously anti-Pakistan former head of the
NDS.
A close examination of the PTM leaders' activities reveals
that Wazir is in constant communication with the PTM's Afghan supporters while
Dawar is in charge of the Afghan front and has been tasked with addressing the
foreign front. Dawar has been trying to mobilise the Pashtun diaspora.
But now, things are beginning to alter. An argument that the
PTM "used" the Pashtun people for their own purposes and that the
organisation never meant to fight for the rights of the Pashtuns is becoming
stronger every day in Waziristan. Angry Pashtuns can be seen in multiple video
recordings that recently went viral on social media cursing Mohsin Dawar and
Ali Wazir for what they described the latter's "anti-state
activities" and "using" Pashtun people for their own purpose. We
believed that PTM was standing out for Pashtun rights, but in reality, you are
an NDS agent. In one of these videos, an incensed demonstrator is heard
shouting, "You have sold your own Pashtuns to the Afghans. The Pashtuns
can also be heard in the films calling on the government to file treason
proceedings against Dawar and Wazir and imprison them while burning PTM hats.
The NDS, which also receives clandestine backing from RAW,
has been linked to the conflict in Balochistan. It is thought that these
hostile entities are working to destroy the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor
(CPEC) by funding Baloch sub-nationalist organisations. The military forces of
Pakistan are extremely watchful and knowledgeable about their goals.
Resurrecting the PTM bogey is a last-ditch effort by RAW and NDS, who are using
gimmicks and tactics in their losing war. Nevertheless, despite all of this
foreign financing and backing, the PTM has been unable to fool either the
residents of the former FATA or the Pashtuns who live in KP and Balochistan.
The finish is also not too far away.
