Andhare, COO of Vicom18, who claims that the budget rumours around OMG 2 are
substantially overblown.
Akshay Kumar's engagement in the production goes beyond
playing; Andhare shockingly disclosed that he is also a supporting producer.
Andhare told Pinkvilla, "Akshay didn't charge a cent in price. They worked
together on a number of popular films, including OMG, Special 26, and Toilet:
Ek Prem Katha.
Ajit praised Akshay's crucial contribution and emphasised
how the Khiladi star's financial and creative contributions were crucial in
making OMG 2 a reality. At the domestic box office, the movie, starring Pankaj
Tripathi and Yami Gautam, is rapidly getting closer to the coveted Rs 100 crore
milestone.
